Apex Surveillance and Investigations, Inc. charges an hourly rate plus expenses. We video record our time working on your agreed assignment so that you can be assured that you are NOT BEING OVERCHARGED. Hourly rate depends on the nature and duration of each individual case. Please contact our office at 1-866-744-4070 for your individual assignment's hourly rate, or fill out our Service Request Form. Initial consultation is completely free. Before an investigation can be initiated, a signed service agreement and a $500.00 working retainer is required. The working retainer fee will be held at the agency until the agreement has been fulfilled. Any unused balance will be credited or refunded when the assignment has been completed. We will advise you if additional personnel is needed for the assignment. Once we receive your working retainer, if you cancel, a $75.00 charge will be applied.
There is no mileage charge for assignments located in Tampa or St. Petersburg. If you live outside of that area, or request that your investigator travel outside of that area, a $.50 per mile charge will be applied to your balance. Other expenses other than time may or may not include, photographic processing, lodging, rental vehicle, commercial database and public record retrieval fees.
